Edi Alvarez, Principal
Edi Alvarez is an information management executive with 15 years of technology process development. She launched Process Per Se (PPS) to meet the stated need of investment management firms for efficient workflow solutions. Existing clients include Investment Advisors, Financial Planners, Wealth Managers, Private Fund Managers, and Financial Service supporting firms.

Prior to launching PPS in September 2004, Edi was Director of Information Services for a distinguished Bay Area biotechnology marketing firm. She was recruited from Hawaii to California for her rare combination of education, science, technology and business skills. In this role she created and coordinated processes to manage marketing and financial information for both local and international biotechnology firms.

Edi has developed streamlined processes for finance firms, academia, biotechnology, and research laboratories.

To provide a firm foundation to her business experience she has many academic and industry degrees and certifications. These include a Master of Science degree, a Bachelor degree in Technology Education, and a Bachelor degree with Honors in Life Sciences from Canada's prestigious Queen's University. In addition, she has technology and Investment Industry qualifications that include Database and systems engineer (MCDBA and MCSE), and to better support our Process Per Se clients she has earned the CFP® designation.

Edi contributes in many ways to her community. She currently writes a column for a National magazine and serves in several non profit boards. She is along time member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
